Many hear the phrase “love story” and immediately their minds dart to marriage or romance. Yes, the Father desires to choose a spouse who best fits you. But the truth is, God wants everyone to live a perfect love story with those around them. The Lord wants your family to overflow with His love, and He longs to connect you to friends who eventually become family. The Father's great hope is that His children feel a sense of belonging and experience His love through those around them. Thus, others may see His love and be saved.
Every life lesson that the Lord longs to teach us will stem from His desire to refine the way we love Him and others. However, God is love, and we are incapable of showing perfect love without Him. As a result, the book series Live a Love Story seeks to encourage the reader to pursue the Lord in their thought life. Ask Him the hard questions so that you can get to know the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in a deeper way. In this way, you can live as one with the Trinity as well as your brothers and sisters in Christ.
Therefore, just as the Spirit draws yielded hearts into moments of separation so that we may pray, fast, and spend time alone with the Lord, He also leads us to His table. There, we can commune with Christ and one another. In the presence of God's sons, daughters, and enemies, we will feast on His body, drink His blood, and be washed clean. At the table, we will grow in the knowledge of Christ, learn about the aspects of ourselves that He desires to refine, and even meet the very people meant to lead us to the cross of glory. And so, here is your formal invitation to His table.
